The term “sole agent instruction” refers to a situation in which a property owner has granted exclusive rights to a single property agent or broker to sell or lease the property on their behalf.

In a sole agent instruction arrangement, the property owner agrees to work with a single agent or broker, rather than multiple agents or brokers, in order to market and sell the property. The agent or broker has the exclusive right to represent the property and to negotiate deals on behalf of the owner.
